Meet Hannah! 

Hannah is the founder and CEO of Hannah Mitchell Wellness, a health & wellness coaching company dedicated to helping busy women reclaim their health and vitality through lifestyle medicine.


 

Hi there! I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a body that doesn’t feel like your own. To wake up exhausted, battle cravings that feel impossible to control, and feel frustrated that nothing seems to work.

For years, I worked in the healthcare system, treating patients with heart disease, obesity, and metabolic issues, prescribing medications, and seeing them come back sicker each time. It was heartbreaking. I knew there had to be a better way—a way to prevent and even reverse these conditions, not just manage them.

Despite my master's degree from Georgetown University and years of experience in cardiology, I found myself struggling with my own health. I had all the knowledge, yet I was still battling exhaustion, cravings, and metabolic issues. That’s when I discovered lifestyle medicine. Through my own journey of overcoming weight gain, high blood pressure, and burnout, I learned firsthand how powerful simple, sustainable changes can be. Now, I’m on a mission to help other women take back control of their health—without extreme diets, quick fixes, or feeling overwhelmed.

It All Started When . . .

 

I spent years working in the fast-paced world of cardiology, witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of chronic illness. Patient after patient, I saw the same cycle—heart disease, diabetes, obesity—conditions that were largely preventable, yet so few were given the tools to truly heal.

Meanwhile, my own health was suffering. Long shifts, constant stress, and mindless eating left me feeling drained, carrying extra weight, and experiencing the very same health issues I was helping others manage. I remember looking in the mirror one day, barely recognizing myself. I had always been active and in shape, but now I felt sluggish, uncomfortable in my own skin, and completely disconnected from the person I used to be. I thought to myself, How did I let it get to this point?

Like many of the women I now help, I was doing everything I thought I was supposed to—eating “healthy,” going through cycles of intense exercise followed by long periods of doing nothing, and trying every diet trend that promised results. But nothing stuck. The exhaustion, cravings, and metabolic struggles never really went away.

On top of everything, my significant other—a physician—just didn’t get it. He didn’t understand the a relentless cycle of cravings and energy crashes that I couldn’t seem to escape. I felt constantly hungry, irritable, and reliant on caffeine or sugar just to get through the day. I was told, ‘Just work out more’ or ‘Eat less,’ as if it were that simple. But deep down, I knew this wasn’t just about willpower—I felt like my body was working against me. And I know now that so many other women feel this way too.


But Then Everything Changed...

I realized It wasn't until I started looking at health through the lens of lifestyle medicine that everything started to make sense. My turning point came when I finally stopped chasing quick fixes and started focusing on real, sustainable changes. I immersed myself in the science of nutrition, metabolic health, and habit formation, and most importantly, I put it into practice in my own life. I ditched restrictive diets and focused on healing my body from the inside out. 

I also had to change the way I thought about success. Instead of seeing health as a destination, I started to view it as a lifelong journey—one built on small, intentional choices rather than extremes. I learned that discipline, not fleeting motivation, was the real driver of change. That shift in mindset made all the difference.

The transformation wasn't overnight, but it was real. I started to trust my body again. I lost weight, my energy skyrocketed, and my blood pressure normalized. But more than that, I felt in control for the first time in years. I wasn't just surviving—I was thriving. And I knew I had to help other women experience this freedom, too. That's when I decided to take everything I had learned—both from my medical background and my personal experience—and create a program that truly works.
